School Info

School Grade: B

Mascot: Hawk Colors: Silver and Black.

Welcome to Crystal Lake Elementary, home of the Hawks! We are located off of Kanner Highway at 2095 SW 96th Street. Our school first opened its doors in 1988 and has undergone a school wide renovation around 2010 to bring technology and HVAC systems up to date. All of the schools in Martin County are currently receiving upgraded security systems including a single point of entry, security cameras, and increased background checks for our volunteers.

Crystal Lake Elementary is considered a suburban/rural school. We are a cluster site for full-time gifted instruction in grades 3-5 . We are also a cluster site with ESE PreK and ASD/VE Classrooms. All of our teachers (VE and Gen Education) differentiate instruction to make sure all students received the best education possible including providing interventions and also enrichment activities. Our class sizes follow the state guidelines with grades K-3 at 18:1 and grades 4-5 at 22:1.

We are always excited when our staff and parents are former students of Crystal Lake Elementary or have children who are former Hawks. They share their wonderful memories connected to our school and are excited to be able to share this with their own children.

Hello Crystal Lake Hawks!

My name is Jennifer Parker and this is my fifth year working for Martin County Schools.  I have served as a Math and Science Coach before landing in the Hawk’s nest as the new Assistant Principal. First and foremost, I am an alumnus of South Fork High School – Go Bulldogs!! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and continued my education at Nova Southeastern where I received a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Most of my 16 years teaching in the classroom were in Thomasville and Orlando.  I have two sons who are in their twenties and are pursuing their dreams as a fire fighter and a pilot.  I enjoy spending free time with my family and traveling.  I am very passionate about Math and educating ALL students for success. I LOVE being a Hawk!
