Specialty Pathways Available ONLY @ the Beach
Architecture, Civil & Survey Drafting
Students learn to use applied mathematics, manual drafting skills, software to produce 2D plans and 3D residential homes and commercial building architecture and drawings. Build models with SnapHouse, balsa wood, and traditional foam core methods. Neighborhood site planning and landscape design are introduced and studied in Civil 3D. An overview of the history of the built environment, investigate the surveying and mapping profession with design and drafting of survey maps and details, aerial photography, mapping procedures, civil drafting and three-dimensional topographic modeling, sustainability issues, and presentation drawings.
Learn Autodesk AutoCAD during freshman year while taking Drafting 1 and being introduced to Engineering Graphics and Basic Architectural Principles. Students learn methods of basic hand and computer-based drafting and design. Autodesk Certified User Industry Certifications are available starting in Drafting 2 . Be introduced to Autodesk 3D Building Information Modeling software, Revit, in Drafting 3. Learn Autodesk Civil 3D beginning in Drafting 4, and Civil & Survey Drafting 5 & 6, and see how this Comprehensive detailed design and documentation software works for Civil Engineering and Geomatics (Land Surveying).

Engineering Pathways
CIM (Computer-Integrated Manufacturing)
Students learn design process, research and analysis, teamwork, communication methods, solid modeling design software, mechanisms, energy sources, energy applications, machine control, fluid power, statics, material properties, material testing, statistics, kinematics, combinational and sequential logic design, design and test digital circuitry, create prototype, perform product testing, produce finished product.
CIM applies principles of robotics and automation. The course builds on computer solid modeling skills developed in Introduction to Engineering Design. Students use CNC equipment to produce actual models of their three-dimensional designs. Fundamental concepts of robotics used in automated manufacturing, and design analysis are included.
Engineering Design and Development is a capstone course to provide students with the opportunity to develop a solution to a design problem from start to finish. Students work in teams to design, engineer, create a prototype, perform product testing, and then produce a finished product and formal report.
Up to 4 class progression: (Intro to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Engineering Design & Development).
Hospitality and Tourism Management
Students will use mathematical, economic, marketing, and sales fundamentals of the Hospitality industry, computer-related careers sales and management techniques, marketing principles, entrepreneurship skills, human relations, communications, employability skills, academic and technical preparation to pursue high-demand and high-skill careers in related industries.
Up to 5 class progression: (Introduction to Hospitality & Tourism, Technology for Hospitality & Tourism, Hospitality & Tourism Marketing Management, Hospitality & Tourism Internship or Hospitality & Tourism – OJT, Hospitality & Tourism Entrepreneurship).

Entrepreneurship
Students will develop the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to start and operate a business, learn business ethics, principles of marketing, financing, managing a business, decision making, communication techniques, and evaluate potential as a business owner.
3 class progression: (Principles of Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Law, Business Ownership).

Health Science (Nursing Assistant)
Overview of the human body, structurally and functionally with emphasis on the pathophysiology and transmission of disease, Medical terminology, in depth knowledge of the health care system and associated occupations, all aspects of activities of daily living for the adult patient in both hospital and nursing home settings, didactic instruction, skills practice in the laboratory and clinical.

Digital Video Technology
Introduction to the digital video production process, safe work practices, planning production set, designing lighting plans, camera operation, audio/ video recording, mixing, editing, digital video pre-production, production, and post-production processes, develop interviewing skills, perform on camera in video productions, and complete all phases in the digital video production process.

Exercise Science (Health Science)
Introduces students to the wellness and fitness marketplace and its various components such as instructing or coaching groups or individuals in exercise activities and the fundamentals of an individual’s health and wellness. Personal trainers demonstrate techniques and methods of participation and observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary to improve their skills and personal health.

Embry Riddle Dual Enrollment
explore the world of aerospace and aviation while still in high school have a unique opportunity through a partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Jensen Beach High School. An on-campus Dual Enrollment course in Aerospace Fundamentals After completing this course, you'll have the opportunity to continue your studies with Embry-Riddle, taking more advanced courses and working toward a degree in aerospace, engineering, aviation, or another related field.
Work Based Learning
Work based learning encourages employability skills (such as communication, teamwork, social interaction, goal planning, problem solving, conflict management, initiative and enterprise, organization, self-management, resume writing, and interviewing.) Businesses offering WBL opportunities can create a strong return on investment (ROI) in factors such as increased human capital development, brand awareness / loyalty and existing staff retention (to name a few).
