In order to renew your certificate, you will need to have earned at least 120 in-service points, or the equivalent, during this certificate’s validity period.

You must complete the 20- point teaching students with disabilities (SWD) requirement every renewal period.

The exception to current renewal credit is if you have banked credit in ESOL, Reading, or SWD. ESOL and Reading courses can only have been banked if used to add the endorsement to a certificate.

If you earned in-service, current or banked, in another Florida county, contact that county to submit your renewal credit to the FLDOE.

At any time, you may contact the MCSD Professional Development Department and request they complete the In-service Transfer Record and send it to another Florida county.
