Department of Innovation and Choice
The Innovation and Choice Department is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and personalized learning experiences within the Martin County School District. This department oversees various divisions catering to diverse student interests and goals, including Academic Acceleration, Adult Education, AVID, Career and Technical Education, Charter Schools, Dual Enrollment, School Choice, Specialty Pathways, and Work-Based Learning/Internships. The Department of Innovation and Choice empowers students to chart individualized paths and access advanced academic and career options by offering these unique programs. The School Board shall admit students to Martin County District schools, programs, and classes without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, or disability. The lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in CTE programs.
