Through partnerships with businesses, nonprofit organizations, professional organizations, churches, and civic clubs, schools have been able to tap into resources to meet the individual needs of their student body, provide excellent educational programming, and recognize academic achievements.

The Martin County School District is proud to announce our SY20-21 Commissioner’s Business Recognition Awards (CBRA) nominee, Ms. Kate Boland, Chairperson, Center for Constitutional Values (CCV), has been recognized in the top ten of nominations.  Through the annual “Constitution Academic Competition” debate-scholarship program, the CCV has awarded 34 students over $28,000 in scholarships these past seven years.  Although the students genuinely appreciate the scholarships, students have shared what the competition means to them on a personal level.  Students have shared that even though it is takes a lot of time and effort to prepare for the debates, they are grateful for the opportunity to argue and articulate constitutional issues in a public forum before a jurist from the 19th Judicial Circuit Court with whom we coordinated to preside over the competitions.  The Commissioner will announce the State winners in May.
