All Martin County School District departments have been in training, preparing to welcome students back for the 2023-2024 school year, which starts on Aug. 10.
For Extended Day, the District's after-school program, preparation involves more unique tactics. The key philosophy our counselors learn is if the adults are having fun laughing and playing around, the kids will, too!
Counselors learned dozens of different games they can play with their students to keep them active, engaged and having fun all year round.
