The Martin County School District is pleased to announce that Kelly Education has been selected to coordinate and manage all aspects of its substitute teacher program.
The Martin County School Board approved the partnership with Kelly Education during its regular meeting on Sept. 19, 2023.
The partnership with Kelly Education is a strategic collaboration that enhances the District's guest educator program. Kelly Education is a distinguished division of Kelly Services – America’s #1 Temp Staffing Firm for over 75 years. Kelly Education has established partnerships with 10 Florida School Districts including four of Florida's largest school districts that subcontract their educator programs.
"Kelly Education's track record of success and commitment to educational excellence aligns perfectly with our goals for providing the best possible learning environment for our students," Superintendent of Schools Michael Maine shared. "We are ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education, even in the absence of their regular educators."
Kelly Education takes on the task of substitute recruiting, screening, hiring, scheduling, and management. The goal is to increase the District's guest teacher and paraprofessional fill rate to over 90% and provide students with an even more seamless learning experience and educators with invaluable support.
Pay for our guest teachers will remain the same, however, they will be paid weekly and have the opportunity to purchase benefits through Kelly Education that include Group Medical, Vision, Prescription Drug, Dental and Group Life Insurance.
