The Martin County School District is currently reviewing materials for the 2023-2024 science instructional materials adoption.
Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, the Martin County School Board is holding a public hearing to consider input from parents and community members regarding the instructional materials selected for the science adoption. The purpose of this hearing is to give parents and community members the opportunity to contribute their input to the selection of instructional materials in the current adoption cycle, in accordance with the legislative and State Board of Education Regulations.
The recommended materials may be reviewed on the Instructional Resources Adoption Page on The Martin County School District website. The materials may be accessed using the following link: MCSD K-12 Science Adoption Public Review Instructional Materials.
The timeframe for this review will run through the close of business on February 19, 2024. Individuals may share their feedback at a Public Hearing during the regularly scheduled Martin County School Board Meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, February 20.
Should there be no objections, the School Board will have the opportunity to either approve the Instructional Materials Review Committee’s recommendations or review them further to decide at the following Board meeting.
