During Spring Break, which is observed March 11 – 15, 2024, in the Martin County School District, families are encouraged to celebrate this time away from school by engaging in the joy of reading together!
In the tradition of inspiring a hunger for reading, each year, School Board Member Christia Li Roberts (District 1) rewards a group of avid readers from Indiantown Middle School with a lunch at the historic Seminole Inn Restaurant.
The students enjoyed a buffet-style lunch while participating in lively conversations with each other, Mrs. Roberts and IMS Media Specialist June Parrilli. Mrs. Roberts also gifted each student with a Thesaurus so they could further develop their reading skills.
