Both Martin County School Board Chair Jennifer Russell (District 3)and Vice Chair Amy Pritchett (District 4) have earned their Certified Board Member Designation.
The Florida School Boards Association (FSBA) issues Certified Board Member credentials to Florida school board members who fulfill training requirements in curricular areas set forth by FSBA's Leadership Services Committee.
Certified Board Members complete extensive training in the areas of school finance, policy governance, bargaining, advocacy, leadership and knowledge.
Certified Board Members must also complete annual education requirements to maintain their designation.
School Board Member Li Roberts (District 1) also holds the Certified Board Member credential.
