Each year, School Board Member Christia Li Roberts (District 1) treats a group of avid readers from Indiantown Middle School to a luncheon.
This year, the group of 10 students enjoyed lunch at Crackers in Indiantown, where they also engaged in lively conversations with each other, Mrs. Roberts, Indiantown Middle School Media Specialist June Parilli, and Assistant Superintendent of Academic Services Troy LaBarbara.
During lunch, the group also played word trivia with Mrs. Roberts and were given a thesaurus so they could further develop their reading skills.
