The Martin County School District is excited to announce the hiring of Sarah Gillooly as the new Assistant Principal of Athletics for Jensen Beach High School. RJ Costello, the former Assistant Principal of Athletics, retired on May 24.
Ms. Gillooly joined Jensen Beach High School in 2014 after teaching and coaching softball in the St. Lucie County School District. In 2016, she became the JBHS head softball coach. She took on the role of Assistant Athletic Director in 2018, demonstrating her leadership and passion for the JBHS athletics program.
Ms. Gillooly earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Wesleyan University and her Master's in sports management at Lasell College and Education Specialist Degree in principalship at Arkansas State University.
Confirmation of her hire is pending Board approval during the Regular School Board Meeting scheduled for June 18.
