The Martin County School Board approved Mr. Chris Forte’s appointment as the next principal of Hidden Oaks Middle School during its meeting on June 18, 2024.
The current principal, Trisha Elliot, will be transitioning to Hobe Sound Elementary to become principal.
Mr. Forte brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Martin County community.
He currently serves as the assistant principal at Osceola Creek Middle School in the Palm Beach County School District.
In addition to his role as assistant principal, Mr. Forte has also completed the Aspiring Leadership Academy and the Preparing Future Principal Program in the Palm Beach County School District.
Before becoming assistant principal at Osceola Creek Middle, Mr. Forte spent time as a math teacher, and the dean of students at Wellington Community High School. He has also taught physical education in Hillsborough County.
Mr. Forte earned his undergraduate degree in education from East Carolina University and his graduate degree in educational leadership at Lynn University.
