The Martin County School District will introduce new start times for the 2024-2025 school year to align with Florida Statutes.
Elementary, middle, and high schools will begin 10 minutes later than usual.
The Martin County School Board approved these new bell schedules in January 2023, in accordance with Florida HB 733, which mandates updated middle and high school start times by the 2026-2027 school year.
By adopting these changes early, the District has secured more than $60,000 in grant funding. This funding will be used to purchase the Here Comes the Bus software, allowing families to track their students’ buses in real-time, from the bus stop to school.
