The Martin County School District proudly welcomed over 100 new educators into our community of dedicated MCSD team members during the annual New Educator Orientation (NEO).
From July 29-31, the new MCSD educators attended NEO, a program designed to celebrate the new staff and provide essential knowledge and skills for a successful start to the 2024-2025 school year.
During NEO, our new teachers received invaluable support and training from District leaders, administrators and experienced educators known as Martin Mentors. They also met and heard from School Board Chair Jennifer Russell (District 3).
The training during NEO ensures that new teachers—whether they are new to Martin County, teaching, or their school—know exactly who to turn to for support throughout the year and emphasizes the strong network of colleagues they can rely on.
