The Martin County School District hosted the 2024 College Fair at Martin County High School on October 28, 2024, providing students and families with a wealth of resources to help plan for life after high school.
The event brought together representatives from dozens of colleges, universities, military branches, and scholarship organizations. Students had the opportunity to explore programs, learn about scholarships, and attend informational sessions designed to make the college planning process a little easier.
In addition to exploring potential schools and programs, the more than 200 attendees gained valuable insight into the benefits of obtaining scholarships and financial aid. Speakers from Peer Forward highlighted resources like Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship Program and Xello.
The College Fair also showcased the wide variety of options for life after high school available to students. From local schools like Indian River State College and Florida Atlantic University to renowned programs like the University of Florida and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, attendees were encouraged to explore schools that matched their passions, goals, and unique needs.
Whether students have a specific career in mind or are still deciding on their path, the Martin County School District is committed to helping students and families navigate their journey.
