The Martin County School District's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten programs began accepting enrollment applications for the 2023-2024 school year on February 7, 2023. Programs are available at select schools with limited enrollment.
VPK is an early learning program that provides developmentally appropriate instruction and activities to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond by building a solid foundation for school success. To be eligible, students must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2023, and reside within an eligible school attendance zone.
The three-hour VPK program is provided at no cost to parents. In addition, a full school day (wrap-around) program is available for a monthly cost of $270.00* (*subject to change).
Parents/caregivers may apply for one of the seats in the District’s 2023-2024 VPK Program during Open Enrollment.

Students who are zoned to attend SeaWind Elementary School are eligible to attend the VPK program offered at Hobe Sound Elementary School. Students zoned to attend Pinewood or Port Salerno elementary schools may attend the VPK program offered at the Salerno Learning Center.
