MCSD Schools Earn Florida Recognition Program Awards

Several Martin County School District schools have been honored with the prestigious Florida School Recognition Program Awards for the 2024-2025 school year. This recognition is based on their outstanding performance during the 2023-2024 school year, showcasing their commitment to educational excellence.

The nine schools will share more than $805,000 in financial awards, with each school receiving funds tailored to its full-time equivalent (FTE) student enrollment, enabling these schools to continue fostering success.

The School Recognition Program honors the high-quality public education in Florida, rewarding schools that demonstrate sustained or significantly improved student performance. Eligibility criteria include:

  • Receiving an “A” grade

  • Achieving a “Commendable” rating

  • Improving at least one performance grade or rating category

  • Improving more than one letter grade and sustaining that improvement
