Jensen Beach Elementary's Odyssey of the Mind Team

The Martin County School District is proud to share that five schools will be heading to the state Odyssey of the Mind tournament, after competing in the regional competition on February 22, 2025.

Odyssey of the Mind is an academic competition that teaches students how to develop and use their natural creativity to become problem solvers. Students who participate in Odyssey of the Mind learn about teamwork, budgeting, time management, public speaking and much more.

During the Palms Regional Tournament at Treasure Coast High School, teams from Bessey Creek Elementary, Citrus Grove Elementary, Felix A. Williams Elementary, Hobe Sound Elementary, Jensen Beach Elementary, Palm City Elementary, Warfield Elementary, Hidden Oaks Middle, and Indiantown Middle represented the District with creativity, collaboration, and determination.

The teams from Jensen Beach Elementary, Citrus Grove Elementary, Indiantown Middle, Warfield Elementary, and Palm City Elementary will advance to the state competition.

“It’s incredible to see the Odyssey of the Mind program continue to grow in our schools, with more students excelling at creative problem-solving and teamwork each year,” Superintendent Michael Maine shared. “The dedication and ingenuity displayed by our teams reflect the power of perseverance and collaboration taught by our educators. I am incredibly proud of their hard work and excited to see them represent Martin County at the state level."
