➗➕MATH WEEK 2024✖️➖ Happy MCSD Math Week! Monday = Wild About Math! Throughout this week, students and teachers are celebrating all things math! Each day, students AND teachers can participate in daily math challenges and compete with others from across the District for prizes. All grade levels are invited to participate! Martin County will not experience a "totality" like other parts of the country and can expect to see approximately 51% coverage of the sun. Please note that on Thursday, April 4th our 4th & 5th grade students will take the FAST Writing Assessment. Students will transition into assessment mode shortly after the conclusion of Morning Announcements so please make sure students arrive to school on time. 🍎CHOOSING THE BEST🍎 During an Emergency Meeting held this evening, the Martin County School Board voted to add Martin County High School and Jensen Beach High School to the list of approved Controlled Open Enrollment schools for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This means in AND out-of-county residents can apply to ANY MCSD-operated school during the application period that will open tomorrow, March 1 – March 31. For high school students, applications for signature programs are no longer required as part of the Choice process, but must be completed if your child would like to be considered for entrance into a signature program. ℹ️Students accepted into a Controlled Open Enrollment choice option must have their own mode of transportation to and from school.
