The Martin County School District is pleased to announce that Dr. Nicole Rathnaw will be transitioning to Hidden Oaks Middle School as the new Assistant Principal of Curriculum. Dr. Rathnaw, who currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Martin County High School, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a passion for fostering academic excellence.

A dedicated educator with experience at both the elementary and secondary levels, Dr. Rathnaw has built a career focused on transformational coaching, curriculum development, and instructional leadership. She has a proven track record of collaborating with state and district leaders to design and assess instructional practices, leading problem-solving initiatives, and creating professional learning opportunities that drive meaningful change in schools.

Before her tenure at Martin County High School, Dr. Rathnaw served as Principal of J.D. Parker Elementary School, where she was instrumental in implementing strategies to improve student outcomes. She also held positions as Assistant Principal at J.D. Parker, a Regional Educational Consultant for the Florida Inclusion Network, and an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) leader within the Martin County School District.

Dr. Rathnaw holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and multiple certifications, including National Institute for School Leaders (NISL) Certification and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement.

Her strategic leadership, commitment to instructional excellence, and passion for student success will make a profound impact at Hidden Oaks Middle School. The Martin County School District is excited to see Dr. Rathnaw continue her journey in this new role and looks forward to her contributions in shaping curriculum and instruction at the school.
