The Florida Department of Education released state assessment results for the 2023-2024 school year, and the Martin County School District excelled!
Our students have demonstrated outstanding achievements across multiple subjects and grade levels, surpassing state averages and setting new benchmarks for excellence.
Notable Achievements:
💫MCSD outperformed Palm Beach County in Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Civics, and U.S. History.
💫MCSD outperformed St. Lucie Public Schools in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Civics, and U.S. History.
💫MCSD outperformed Indian River County in Algebra, Civics, and Writing.
We are proud to announce that MCSD ranks #1 on the Treasure Coast in both Algebra and Civics, and is performing above the state average in Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Writing, Science, and Civics.

🇺🇸HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS🇺🇸
The Martin County School District Office and school sites will be closed to the public from July 1 - 5 in observance of Independence Day.
Extended Day and our free Summer Meal Program will continue as scheduled throughout the week. Families will only be permitted to enter school campuses for activities related to these services. We are excited to introduce Ms. Anne Johnson as the new Assistant Principal of Student Services at Hidden Oaks Middle School!
Ms. Johnson previously served as an Assistant Principal at Tradition Preparatory High School in Port St. Lucie. Prior to that, she was a 6th Grade Teacher in Brevard County and has taught English and language arts at both the middle and high school levels.

Achieving the highest possible grades in every class for all three years is an incredible accomplishment. We wanted to honor this level of achievement for our outgoing eighth grade class. Our Food & Nutrition Services Department continues to offer free meals to ALL children aged 18 and under during the summer months with no income restrictions. Breakfasts and lunches are now being served at a few locations, but more sites will be available starting June 3.
Our Summer Feeding Bus is back on the road this year! It will make stops at St. Lucie Mobile Village and Booker Park in Indiantown.

Yearbook distribution will be Monday May 20th during 6th and 7th periods in the café. Grades will be called down and those who have pre-purchased a yearbook will be sent down to pick them up. Tuesday yearbooks will be on sale at the bookstore in the morning before the first bell. Please note NO yearbooks will be sold at distribution.
8th grade families. Final end of year tasks are needed to officially complete middle school. Students were provided with a list of items to be completed with parent's help. Contact HOMS office team members: Ms. Seni (bookkeeping) and Ms. Oliveira for registration. Support successful SHARK behavior for our final remaining school days. We hope all students can attend all of our final end of year events, respectful behavior required.

We are very proud to announce that more than 150 students in the Martin County School District earned a perfect score on their state assessments for the 2022-2023 school year!
Students were celebrated for this outstanding achievement during the Perfect Score Awards Ceremony last Monday.
Fewer than 1% of students in the state earned a perfect score. The climb to #1 continues through our students’ PERFECT mastery of their course content!
