Please be advised:
If you bring your own device instead of using an MCSD laptop, you will not be able to use it for state/national testing. We do recommend filling out the Laptop Loan Form (available in the student services office) to borrow an MCSD laptop for testing days. 9th and 10th grade ELA testing starts Thursday (8/22/24).
If you park in the Best Buy parking lot, your vehicle will be towed (per the owner of the shopping center).
There will be no more student dismissals after 2:40. You must wait until the 3:15 bell to leave.
Freshmen, Class of 2028, if you are interested in running for a class office, please see Mrs. Lavelle at 8:10 AM in Room 122 on Tuesday, August 20th.
On Wednesday, August 21, the National Honor Society will have a new member interest meeting for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who would like more info about the eligibility requirements for joining. This meeting will be held in Mrs. Duchene's room (249). You may attend either in the morning @ 8:00 AM or in the afternoon, right after school @ 3:15.
Each day the announcements will be shared in a variety of ways: via The Beach, our student-centered newscast starting soon (available on campus for staff and students only); posted on our JBHS Homepage under the channel “Daily Beach Announcements” - https://www.martinschools.org/o/jbhs/page/daily-announcements-from-the-beach ; and sent out via Thrill Share.
The last day for students to submit class change requests to Guidance is TODAY, 8/16/24. You may come during lunch or after school.
No student should come down during instructional class time to request a change. No class change requests will be accepted beyond 8/16/24.
The Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Martin County has provided the students at Jensen Beach High School with an amazing opportunity! Thanks to a grant, they will hold services at JBHS daily after school. These services include many activities, tutoring, snacks and dinner, and more! Any JBHS students who are interested may report to the cafeteria after school. Bus transportation will be provided afterward.
The Jensen Beach High School Drama Department's Fall play: Romeo and Juliet auditions are on Monday, Aug. 19th from 3:30 – 6:00 PM in the auditorium.
If you are interested in auditioning, please complete the Romeo and Juliet packet in Schoology. You do not need to prepare anything for auditions. We will be providing scenes from the script for you to read. Hope to see you there!
On August 21st & 22nd Students’ Class Pictures will be taken. Students will be brought down to the auditorium one of the two days by their English teachers. FLVS and IRSC students will also be invited to take their photos. If students miss the Aug. 21st session, they will be able to go on the 22nd, and on 9/18 (photo makeups).
A complete schedule by class period and English teacher will follow.

For any girl interested in playing flag football this school year, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, August 19th, before school at 8:15 or after school at 3:20 in room 119. We will discuss physicals, conditioning dates, schedules, and off-season playing opportunities. Any questions see Coach Gilbert in room 119 or Coach Pannell in room 115.

If you have been waiting on a code for your family, please be on the lookout for an email from do-not-reply@reaxium.com with the subject line, "You have been invited to the MyReaXiumApp!" and be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you are unable to locate it.
If your child is a new bus rider this year, your MyReaXiumApp will begin to display real-time GPS information for your child once they have swiped their ID card onto the bus for the first time.
