The first day of school is just around the corner! Now’s the perfect time to review the District’s cell phone and wireless device policy to avoid any surprises—like having to come pick up a confiscated device. 😅
🔒 Here’s what you need to know:
During school hours, cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other wireless devices must be turned off and kept out of sight.
If a device is seen or used, it will be confiscated.
Only a parent or guardian can retrieve the device, and pick-up times are set by school staff.
Repeated violations may be considered insubordination and could lead to suspension.

Students who would like a MCSD-issued device must first complete the Laptop Loan Form—available in the Library Media Center and the Dean’s Office or online at https://www.martinschools.org/o/mchs/page/technology-information
✅ The form must include a parent or guardian signature.
📄 Once completed, return it to the Library Media Center to receive your laptop.
📅 Beginning Friday, August 8, 2025, devices will be issued:
🕒 Before school: 7:45 AM – 8:15 AM
🍽️ During 5th Period lunches
🚪 Afterschool: 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM
