🎶🎤FLORIDA'S FINEST MUSICIANS🎶🎤
The Martin County School District was well-represented at the Florida Music Education Association's 2022-2023 All-State Conference. Being selected to perform at this level is a tremendous honor for our student musicians - they perform select pieces of music before a panel of judges during the Conference. In some cases, they also have to take a 50-question musical theory test. Students prepare for more than a year to perform. 💜💛AVID SCHOOLS UNITE💛💙
AVID students at Martin County High School visited Port Salerno Elementary School to host a super fun and educational AVID Fair!
A.V.I.D. stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. Students in AVID classes are taught specific strategies to prepare them for college eligibility and success.
The MCHS seniors created AVID-related activities to engage the elementary students and show them why the AVID strategies are useful in school and at home.
PSE is the ONLY AVID elementary school in the Martin County School District. The fifth-grade students at PSE had a blast learning from MCHS seniors!
