Dear Parents, Our school recently learned that a rock concert will be taking place outside the prom venue at the same time as the prom itself. As a result, parking may be a concern. We encourage you to talk with your students about safe travel, patience, and arriving early to secure ample parking. This will ensure a smooth start to their evening. Remember: students cannot enter the dance after 9 p.m. Students must have their school ID, and guests from out of district must have an ID with them as well. All prom attendees must have their purchased tickets. No tickets will be sold at the door. Additionally, please remind your children that our school and district have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and vaping. Anyone found with these items or suspected to be under the influence will face disciplinary consequences and potential legal actions. Families must discuss avoiding temptation, especially since they may notice concert attendees engaging in similar behavior. Thank you for your cooperation and support in ensuring a safe and enjoyable prom experience. Sincerely, Martin County High School Administration
