An educator rarely captures the moment when their student's life is changed.
Ms. Claudia Thompson, a Martin County High School counselor, caught the moment when one of her students, Dallana, learned just how helpful Paper tutoring could be.
Ms. Thompson met with Dallana to discuss her Q1 grade in Geometry. They talked about the advantages of using Paper for all her homework needs.
She helped Dallana log in, choose her avatar, select her strong and weak subject areas, and select her study habits. Then, Dallana took a few minutes to try out the app and interact with a live tutor.
The first photo shows Dallana becoming overwhelmed with relief and her eyes welling up. She was shocked it was a real, live person who could help her 24/7, in English AND Spanish.
The second photo shows Paper becoming a game-changer for Dallana as she interacts with her real, live tutor.
Ms. Thompson said the online tutoring service is now one more tool in Dallana's toolbox that will help her achieve her goals.

Congratulations to our 2022-2023 National Merit Scholarship Letter of Commendation recipients! Five Jensen Beach High School seniors, two Martin County High School seniors and three South Fork High School seniors have earned this prestigious designation.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is a renowned academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955.

Calling all AVID Tigers! Martin County High School is excited to announce our AVID Family Night scheduled for November 7th, 2022. This wonderful event will start in the Auditorium at 6pm. After a short presentation from our AVID Seniors and AVID School Counselor, families will have the opportunity to attend a breakout session with their AVID Elective Teacher. We are also excited to invite you to stay after for our AVID Freshman Pinning Ceremony that will take place in the MCHS Auditorium at 7:30pm. Refreshments to follow.
