At Martin County High School, students don’t just learn about public safety—they train for it. Under the leadership of experienced instructor Mr. Ben Lawrynas, Tigers gain hands‑on experience that prepares them for real careers in emergency response and communications.
💥 Program Highlight:
Seniors in the Criminal Justice program have the opportunity to earn the Florida 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator certification—a state‑recognized credential that many MCHS students have already achieved! This certification opens the door to stepping directly into emergency communications roles as soon as they turn 18.
🔥 Why This Program Stands Out:
✔️ Real‑world skills
✔️ Career‑ready training
✔️ Direct pathways into public safety
✔️ Industry-recognized certification
✔️ A chance to serve and protect the community
Our Tigers graduate with confidence, capability, and a powerful jump‑start into the world of public service. 🐅💛💙

📚💙 Tigers in Action! 💛📚
The National Honor Society of Martin County High School recently teamed up with the National English Honor Society of The Benjamin School to make a huge impact on families in need across the United States!
Together, our students collected and donated 1,300 children’s, teen, and young adult books — a gift that will open minds, inspire imagination, and support literacy for countless young readers. ✨
These books are being distributed through Turning the Page, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has spent more than 25 years empowering public school families through meaningful literacy and community-building programs.
We are incredibly proud of our Tigers for showing leadership, compassion, and a commitment to service. 🐯💛
This is what making a difference looks like!
