๐ณ๐ Growing Gratitude at MCHS! ๐๐ณ
This year, MCHS NHS is excited to launch a new and meaningful way to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! For the 2025โ2026 school year, we will honor our incredible teachers and staff by planting a gumbo limbo tree on campusโa living tribute to the roots they plant and the lives they shape every day.
๐ฑ While the project is currently in the approval stage, once finalized, school administration will determine the perfect planting location for this special symbol of growth, strength, and appreciation.
We are especially grateful to Lychee Tree Nursery for generously donating and planting the tree. The nursery is owned by Robert Snyder, whose daughter Lydia is a proud MCHS graduate and college graduate todayโmaking this gift even more meaningful to our school community.
We canโt wait to bring this project to life and celebrate our teachers in a way that will grow for generations to come. ๐ซ
Thank you for helping us honor those who help us grow! ๐ฟ

During Teacher Appreciation Week, Martin County High School is proud to recognize and celebrate its exceptional teachers. It is a privilege to pause and thank each of them for the meaningful work they do every dayโwork that impacts students, families, the district, and the broader community.
MCHS teachers create classrooms where students feel welcomed, supported, and challenged. These are spaces where curiosity is encouraged, confidence is built, and growth is expected. Through expertise, patience, and care, teachers shape not only what students learn, but who they become.
Teachers at MCHS serve as mentors, coaches, role models, and trusted adults. In both the big moments and everyday interactions, their influence is lastingโwhether helping a student grasp a new concept, offering encouragement at a critical moment, or consistently showing belief in each learner. MCHS is deeply grateful for the professionalism, dedication, and heart its teachers bring to their roles each day. Thank you, MCHS teachers, for all you do to support students and to strengthen the Tiger learning community.
๐ You are appreciatedโthis week and always. ๐พ
