Join the MCSD Student Services Department on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, as we come together to celebrate “Purple Up!” Day and support our military-connected students!
“Purple Up!” is a national celebration where we wear purple to show our support for and appreciation of military-connected children and their families. Purple represents all branches of the U.S. military—combining Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine Corps red, Space Force blue, and Navy blue into one powerful color of unity. 🇺🇸
April is also the Month of the Military Child, a designation established in 1986 to recognize the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of military children everywhere.

"Kylee is an exceptional student and gymnast," proud mom Niki shared. "We are so proud of her and her accomplishments!! Kylee will be attending the University of South Florida in the fall with her twin brother, which is great for us :). She will be majoring in pre-med. We want to thank all of her teachers/counselors at MCHS and Indian River State College for helping guide her down this path.
