🎨CULTIVATING CREATIVITY🎨 It's that time of year when the weather can be picture-perfect! Next week, art students from Jensen Beach High School, South Fork High School, Martin County High School and Clark Advanced Learning Center will be participating in Plein Air Arts Day! Hosted by MartinArts, Arts Day is a fun and educational program where students learn different art techniques from local artists and create their own masterpieces outside in the beautiful downtown Stuart! 🚗ENJOYING THE RIDE🚗 South Fork High School's Automotive Technology Program hosted its first-ever Car Show this weekend. The event was managed all by students, and it was a huge success! South Fork High School collaborated with Project LIFT and Martin County High School's Automotive Technology Program for the trophies. They were welded by hand and painted a different color for each award category. Students selected winners based on what they've learned so far in class this year. "It was incredible to see students from both MCHS and SFHS bond over a common passion, learning from community members who are experts in the auto industry! True learning and collaboration happened, and we are beyond proud of our students," SFHS Assistant Principal Jackie Scott said. "Gia was very active in school activities during her years at MCHS and has thoroughly enjoyed being a Tiger," proud mom Heather shared. "She is Senior Class President and heavily involved in SGA and Leadership. One of her favorite Leadership positions is being the head of the Spirit Committee, where she devised and orchestrated this year’s pep rallies. She belongs to National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society, as well as being a football and basketball cheerleader. Gia has been most inspired by Mrs. Herd and Mrs. Bros and is thankful for the opportunity to learn through them. We are so proud of Gia’s personal strengths and accomplishments and can’t wait to see what her future brings!"
