🎓EDUCATING ALL STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS🎓
Martin County High School held its AVID Night for families on Wednesday evening. Offered at all three of our high schools, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a learning framework that helps educators close opportunity gaps and prepare students for college, careers and success in a global society. Students are taught to work collaboratively, take ownership of their learning, think critically and advocate for themselves. Families enjoyed learning more about how the program is preparing students for future success in all areas of life.

🍎CELEBRATING SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS🍎
The Martin County School District is proud to celebrate our school social service workers in honor of National School Social Work Week!
Our School Social Service Workers are essential members of Team MCSD - they assist children, families, faculty and staff in creating a healthy and positive learning environment for all. They work tirelessly to identify and provide services to students (and their families) who face serious barriers to success, including poverty, disabilities, abuse, addiction and the loss of loved ones.
