Starting November 9, 8th-grade students will have the opportunity to explore all the Career and Technical Education Programs our high schools offer. The showcase is during regular school hours. Students will network with industry professionals, connect with CTE and local work-based opportunities, interact with current CTE Academy student leaders, and plan for their future! 🧡BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH🧡 October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time specially dedicated to raising awareness about and preventing childhood bullying while advocating for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The goal of Unity Day is to bring together youth, parents, educators, and community members across the nation to emphasize the message that we are united against bullying! ⚠️NATIONWIDE ALERT⚠️ Around this time tomorrow, the Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA and the Federal Communications Commission are planning to test both the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). The test will occur Wednesday, October 4, at 2:20 p.m. It will be conducted in two parts, with one set to go to cell phones and the other to radio and TV stations. FEMA says the alert will have a unique tone and vibration to make the alert accessible to all recipients. Phones should receive the message only once in the 30 minutes after the test begins on Wednesday. #ALLINMartin👊
