The Martin County School Board approved Ms. Kathleen Wonnell's appointment as the new Assistant Principal of Student Services at South Fork High School during its meeting on May 21, 2024.
Ms. Wonnell currently serves as the Dean of Students at South Fork and will begin her new role on July 15, 2024.
Before becoming Dean of Students at South Fork, Ms. Wonnell was the Dean of Students at Jensen Beach High School from 2015-2023. She has also served as an Exceptional Student Education Facilitator and English Teacher at Martin County High School from 2007-2015.
Ms. Wonnell earned her undergraduate degree in English at Florida Atlantic University and her graduate degree in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
