SFHS JROTC Home Depot

The South Fork High School Army JROTC Program recently received a $4,000 grant from The Home Depot Foundation, allowing for critical renovations to its outdoor training facilities.

The upgrades, which took place on January 29, 2025, enhanced the Confidence Tower, Marksmanship Range, and Raider Obstacle Course, providing an improved training experience for cadets.

In addition to providing financial support, The Home Depot Foundation went a step further by donating volunteer labor. Fourteen Home Depot team members worked alongside JROTC program leadership on the renovations.

“We are incredibly grateful to The Home Depot Foundation for their commitment to improving the facilities used by our JROTC cadets,” said South Fork High School Principal Jaime Thompson. “These renovations have enhanced the hands-on learning experiences our cadets gain through their participation in this program.”

Majority of the renovations have now been completed with the final projects to be completed by cadets over the next few weeks.
