🎉 Welcome to another of South Fork High School’s newest Bulldog Teachers – Melinda Massey! 🎉
We are thrilled to welcome Melinda Massey as our new ELL Instructor! A true South Fork Bulldog at heart, Melinda graduated from SFHS and is now back where it all began, teaching at the school that helped shape her. With a deep connection to our community – her son is a proud SFHS graduate of the Class of 2020 – she’s no stranger to the spirit and pride of being a Bulldog!
Melinda’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. After earning her Associate of Arts in Business Administration from IRSC and her Bachelor of Arts in English from FSU, she decided to follow her passion for teaching. She went on to earn a Master of Science in English Education and then embarked on a career that took her from substitute teaching during the challenges of the pandemic to working hands-on with English Language Learners (ELL) students. Melinda has found immense joy in helping students grow and thrive, and we are so lucky to have her join us as a full-time ELL teacher.
Her path wasn’t without its personal challenges, including caring for her mother for 16 years, but through it all, Melinda’s love for teaching never wavered. Now, she’s excited to be back at SFHS, working alongside other SFHS alumni who share her Bulldog pride!
We are beyond excited to see all the wonderful ways Melinda will inspire and guide our students, and we know her passion and dedication will make a lasting impact. Go Dawgs! 🐾

🎉 Welcome to South Fork High School’s newest Bulldog Teacher – Sergeant First Class (SFC) Jonathan Delvalle (Ret.)! 🎉
We are beyond excited to welcome SFC Jonathan Delvalle to the South Fork family as our newest JROTC Instructor! With 11 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army as a Human Resources Specialist, SFC Delvalle brings a wealth of leadership, teamwork, and organizational experience to the classroom. His career took him across the globe, working alongside all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and international partners, giving him a unique perspective on what it takes to build and lead strong teams.
After retiring in 2022, SFC Delvalle continued his commitment to growth by earning his bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in human resource management. His dedication to lifelong learning is something he’s eager to pass on to our students, as he helps them develop leadership skills, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility.
When he's not teaching, SFC Delvalle stays active with outdoor adventures, mixed martial arts training, and even some creative projects. He’s ready to inspire our cadets to reach their full potential and is deeply committed to fostering a culture of respect, integrity, and teamwork.
Please join us in welcoming SFC Delvalle to South Fork High School – we’re thrilled to have him on board as a guide and mentor to our students as they work toward excellence! 🐾
