Student Community Service Hours

Below is the Martin County link needed to submit community service hours. Ask your instructor or the Battalion S-1 for a list of your hours in order to keep track. All other instructions, including how to log your hours, are located in the link below.

*It's best to have your hours submitted BEFORE your senior year if you plan to attend college after high school.

National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Recognition

The SFHS CTE and JROTC programs have partnered to provide special opportunities and recognition for Army JROTC Cadets! So what's new? Firstly, JROTC Cadets are now eligible to become members of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). The mission of NTHS is to honor student achievement and leadership in career and technical education, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership. For more information, CLICK HERE. Secondly, the SFHS CTE Program will provide special recognition to any JROTC Cadet who completes at least three years of JROTC, maintains a "B" average in the JROTC program and receives a minimum score of 65 on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). Cadets who meet these requirements will be recognized at the Annual CTE Awards Ceremony. There is NO MILITARY SERVICE OBLIGATION to take advantage of either of these benefits. Be sure to take advantage of these fantastic opportunities to be awarded and recognized for all of your hard work and achievements! Plus, both NTHS and the CTE Awards Certificate look great on college applications!!
