Designated Nurse Advocate
Getting healthy and staying healthy is easier than ever with Donnette Brown, RN. Donnette will spend time with you to understand your health care needs and provide the personal support you deserve. You’re one of a kind, and Florida Blue wants to help you get the care that is right for you. That is why they have designated a nurse advocate you can reach out to for help managing your health and maximizing your benefits. The designated nurse advocate is available to members covered under any of the MCSD medical plans through Florida Blue.
Florida Blue Vision Reimbursement Rider
Florida Blue extends a vision reimbursement rider to every employee and eligible dependent covered under a District medical plan. The rider allows for up to a $150 reimbursement once every 24 months for out of pocket costs associated with corrective eyewear (glasses and contacts). The reimbursement does not cover exams, refractions or warranties.
