🐝SPELLING BEE SCHOLARS🐝 The Martin County School District held the 58th Annual Lillian A. Dassori Middle School Spelling Bee last night at Martin County High School. Five students from each of the middle schools in the District participated in 9 rounds of competition. Murray Middle School 7th grade student Landon Kodare took home the Spelling Bee Champion title and trophy with the winning word “uncanny.” Murray Middle School 8th grade student Dante Charre placed 2nd, and Treasure Coast Classical Academy 8th grade student Yemil Soto placed 3rd. Three students from each of the elementary schools in the District participated in 10 rounds of competition, taking on challenging words such as "eclectic," "sudsy," and "anaconda." Felix A. Williams Elementary 4th-grade student Rafael Pedrosa was named Spelling Bee Champion, acing the winning word "avocado."
