FINS UP, EVERYONE! It's time to celebrate another one of our amazing Sharks!! Eighth grade student Palm City Scout John Dye will receive Medal of Merit from the Gulf Stream Council on February 8th for his heroics during a 2019 FAU/FIU football game! His quick thinking saved a woman in the stands from a powerfully errant football. John was injured as he selflessly went into action to protect those around him, but John wouldn't have done anything differently and won't think twice about doing it again. John is a true hero!

The science fair award ceremony was held Thursday night for Martin county. Our very own Shark, 7th grader Nina Goyal, received the following awards for her project titled Effects of double-stranded RNA Treatment on Sunflowers: Broadcom masters Martin County State Representative/ Regional science fair champion 2022 Participation award The Ricoh sustainable development award of 2022 The Lemelson Early inventor prize.
