Elevate Eagles with Evening Reading!
📚✨ Let’s celebrate the power of books and the bright futures they help create! ✨📚
I recently came across a beautiful reminder from the Guardian:
“Books lead to a richer life. They also lead to a more successful life, as a two-decade-long study showed. Kids who lived with books in their home – as few as 20 – benefitted significantly over those who didn’t, in areas like academic success, vocabulary development and job attainment.”
How incredible is that? Just 20 books can help open doors, spark curiosity, and build confidence. 🌟
And the best part — building a home library doesn’t have to be expensive!
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library offers free books to children
Thrift stores and garage sales are treasure troves
School give‑aways and library sales make it easy to grow a collection on any budget
Every story added to a child’s world is a gift that keeps giving. ❤️
If you’d like help finding resources or getting started, please reach out to me — Mrs. Parrilli. I’m always happy to support this wonderful endeavor. 🌈📖
