Martin County School District middle school students dominated the competition at this year’s MATHCOUNTS Treasure Coast Regional Competition on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The tournament was held at Indian River State College’s Main Campus in Fort Pierce. All five Martin County School District-operated middle schools were represented at this annual competition for elite middle school mathletes from St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee and Highlands counties.
MCSD students took home seven out of the top 10 individual awards, as well as the No. 1 Overall Team and No. 1 Ciphering Team (speed math).
