Started red ribbon week in Mrs. Ryan's class with hat day ❤️👒🧢🎩

To practice their counting skills, Ms. Lunt's class completed a Halloween themed "Count around the room" activity. They had to work together and count halloween pictures in different spots around the classroom. Great job Kindergarten! 🎃😊

Mrs Homan's 2nd graders have been learning all about life cycles. We got to experience the life cycle of a butterfly up close and personal! We then released our butterflies who emerged from their chrysalis!

A HUGE shout out to our JBE Vikings and their families that donated items throughout this week to benefit those who have lost so much during Hurricane Milton in our community. Thanks to two special volunteers, we were able to pack a car full of donations and deliver straight to Elev8hope for distribution to those in need. Thank you JBE Viking families for helping us support our community!!

Kindergarten planted pumpkin seeds during their Living Things Unit in Benchmark several weeks ago. Pictures of our sprouted plants were posted here. Lauren took hers home, continued to give it all of the things she learned plants need to survive and look at her plant now! Wow!! Mrs. Boudreau thinks she might have a green thumb!

Clara W was the first in Mrs. Higgins' class to earn a gold coin for the Book Vending Machine. She celebrated with some classmates who earned some cool brag tags! Way to go Readers!!

📆MAKEUP DAY INFORMATION📆
Martin County School District students will NOT be required to make up the days missed due to the recent hurricanes.
Fortunately, after a thorough review of the District’s instructional calendar, students will still meet state requirements and complete the academic year without the need to use make-up days at this time.
We are committed to supporting the community with ongoing recovery efforts, including through the Education Foundation of Martin County’s relief fund for employees and families, providing free meals for students, and offering credit for last week’s Extended Day services. We are humbled by the resilience and cooperation of our incredible community. Thank you for partnering with us in your child's education. We are #MCSDBetterTogether and #MartinStrong! 💙
