JBE Families- Spring portraits must be ordered by Friday, March 10. Proof forms were sent out. If your child was photographed, they should have the paper order form with the password to view. To place an order, go to www.focusedonforever.com/order and enter your child's password that was on their proof form or that may have been emailed or texted to you if you are registered with Focused on Forever. Did you never see your student's images or proof form? 🔢➗✖️AMAZING JBE MATHLETES🔢➗✖️ Jensen Beach Elementary students participated in the Virtual Perennial Math Competition on 2/18. Nine teams, 46 students total, competed. They practiced for hours after school to prepare for the competition, and their hard work paid off! 📚CELEBRATING OUR HISTORY📚 Ms. E. Thelma Waters was a celebrated civic leader in the Village of Indiantown, FL Government whom we celebrate for #BlackHistoryMonth! Ms. Waters had an inspirational determination to ensure a quality and equitable education for her children and countless others in her community. She was named to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women in 2020 and was one of three people who signed the Articles of Incorporation for the Village of Indiantown. #ALLINMartin👊

The focus is on RESPECT. The purpose is to promote respect across campus and really call attention to those students who are respectful of others property, use respectful words, treat others the way they want to be treated, etc. Students can have no negative referrals between 2/27 - 3/9 or 3/10 in order to attend this special event. MCSD Reads! updates Congratulations to JBE students for beating FAWE in the MCSD reads competition. In addition, we are in first place in the district. Congratulations to Mrs. Pendergast’s class for winning the pop-up shop challenge by have the most points in the first two days. • The class at each grade level who earns the most MCSD points by the end of the contest (2/13-2/27), gets an extra day of PE the week before spring break! • The one class in the school that earns the most points by the end of the contest (2/13-2/27) receives a pizza party. • The student that earns the most points will get a special reward… have lunch with your favorite staff member at a VIP table!
