JBE STREAM Night was a success! Students and families participated in A Visit to the Everglades with a variety of hands on activities all themed around the Everglades ecosystem. Did you know Jensen Beach is part of the Greater Everglades Ecosystem? As a Gold Level Everglades Champion School our students have Everglades literacy integrated into our curriculum. We are proud of our students Everglades knowledge and the opportunity to help educate our families as well. They are equipped to be environmental stewards of the plant and animal wildlife all around us.
A special thank you to our community members that attended and shared their expertise with our school community! The Everglades Foundation, In Water Research Group, the Environmental Studies Center, and our own JBE Eco Action Team. Thank you to our amazing JBE PTA for sponsoring the event as well! #ALLINMartin #IgniteTogetherMCSD #ignitespiritmcsd

Great job to both teams for showing awesome sportsmanship and school spirit!

Fourth grade students had fun at the Spirit Assembly today! Congratulations to these amazing students for earning Student of the Month for January! ✨

✨Cool Readers, Cool Treats!✨
Our awesome 3rd graders in Extended Day worked hard and read 37 books in the 1st semester for MCSD Reads! To celebrate their dedication, they earned a sweet reward—delicious ice pops! Nothing beats a cool treat after diving into great stories. Keep up the fantastic reading!

Happy 100th day of school from Mrs. Thibodeau and Ms. Cathy's Jensen Beach Elementary's VPK Mini-Vikings!
The children were all crowned 100 days smarter. They have been playing, learning and growing together for 100 days already, which is so hard to believe! They had a great time using their one to one correspondence skills while counting to 100 and making a special take home snack.
A special thank you to the parents that helped with the snacks!

Ms. Lunt's Kindergarten Class had such a fun day celebrating the 100th Day Of School! It was an amazing day filled with counting to 100, writing about what that plan to do when they are 100, and a yummy 100 day snack. 🎉

Buddy Reading time in Ms. Lunt's Class! Very proud of how far they have come in their reading skills. In class we have been working very hard on pointing to each word as we read and tapping out words that may be difficult. 📖
