Regional Scholastic Arts Competition Winners Announced

The National Scholastic Arts Competition's Palm Beach and Martin Counties Region has announced its 2023-2024 Scholastic Arts Competition winners.

The National Scholastic Arts Competition is the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative students in grades 7-12. More than 4,000 entries were submitted for the Palm Beach and Martin Counties Region.

The Martin County students listed below have been recognized for their creativity, originality and artistic skill. Gold Key winners will have their original artwork displayed at the Regional Scholastic Art Exhibition from April 15 – April 27 at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. A Gold Key Awards Ceremony will be held on April 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Gold Key winners will move on to compete in this year's National Scholastic Arts Competition. 

Jensen Beach High School:

Martin County High School:

  • Tetiana Bilokon, Gold Key Award – Painting for “Oranges Bleeding Blue”

  • Hannah Houser, Gold Key Award – Drawing & Illustration for “Grandfather’s Violin”

  • Brooke Vanderwarn, Gold Key Award – Photography for “Being Observed” and “Astounded”

  • Mei Lee, Silver Key Award – Digital Art for “Exposure”

  • Mia Sobrado, Silver Key Award – Drawing & Illustration for “The Heart of Hands”

  • Kira Eason, Silver Key Award – Drawing & Illustration for “Utter Chaos”
