Jensen Beach High School is proud to introduce our Guidance Department.
Ms. Tiffany Jones attended the University of Florida to earn her B.A./M.Ed./Ed.S. degrees. Ms. Jones says, "I was originally planning to be a youth mental health counselor, and many of my clients had to be seen at school. I really loved the school environment, so I added school counseling & guidance degree requirements into my mental health program and fulfilled the requirements for both fields." She says her favorite part of her job as a Guidance Counselor is, "building relationships with students and families, getting to know who they are and what the students' interests and goals are. I believe that students need to have a positive connection with someone in the school that helps to guide them onto their next big adventure post-high school, as well as someone who can also walk along with them and provide support as needed."
