The Beach Announcements Tuesday, August 13, 2024 Welcome back to another fantastic school year! Each day the announcements will be shared in a variety of ways: via The Beach, our student-centered newscast (available on campus for staff and students only); posted on our JBHS Homepage under the channel “Daily Beach Announcements” - https://www.martinschools.org/o/jbhs/page/daily-announcements-from-the-beach ; and sent out via Thrillshare. The Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Martin County has provided the students at Jensen Beach High School with an amazing opportunity! Thanks to a grant, they will hold services at JBHS daily after school. These services include many activities, tutoring, snacks and dinner, and more! Any JBHS students who are interested may report to the cafeteria after school. Bus transportation will be provided afterward. The Jensen Beach High School Drama Department's Fall play: Romeo and Juliet auditions are on Monday, Aug. 19th from 3:30 - 6PM in the auditorium. If you are interested in auditioning, please complete the Romeo and Juliet packet in Schoology. You do not need to prepare anything for auditions. We will be providing scenes from the script for you to read from. Hope to see you there! Sports News Fall sports seasons are underway. You MUST complete the Florida Athletic Clearance to participate. We will be taking photos for IDs beginning at 8:00am and again at 11:45. Please follow the MCSD dress code policy when you come to school tomorrow . If you have been waiting on a code for your family, please be on the lookout for an email from do-not-reply@reaxium.com with the subject line, "You have been invited to the MyReaXiumApp!" and be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you are unable to locate it. To help achieve this, the Martin County School Board has updated our Code of Student Conduct policy regarding cell phones and other wireless communication devices. 📲 All wireless communication devices, including cell phones, smartphones, smartwatches and ear buds, that are visible or in use during school hours will be TAKEN AWAY. 📲 Wireless devices that have been taken away will only be returned to the student’s parent/guardian at a scheduled time determined by school administration. 📲 Repeated offenses constitutes insubordination and may result in suspension. For urgent messages, parents or guardians should contact the school's front office. Staff will ensure your student receives the message promptly.
