📱UPDATED CELL PHONE POLICY📱 The Martin County School District is committed to fostering a safe, supportive and effective learning environment for all students. In order to maintain a focused learning environment, the Martin County School Board has updated the Code of Student Conduct policy regarding cell phones/wireless communication devices. Here's what you need to know: 👉Devices Off & Out of Sight: All devices must be turned off and stored in purses or backpacks during the school day. This includes cell phones, earbuds, smartwatches and smartphones. 👉Corrective Actions: Devices seen during school hours will be TAKEN AWAY. Parents/guardians must visit the school to retrieve them, and repeated offenses will lead to further disciplinary action. 👉Communication: For urgent messages, parents/guardians should contact the school's front office. 🥍CELEBRATING ATHLETIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS🥍 Congratulations to Kai Valko, a Jensen Beach High School rising junior, who has been selected to the 2024 National Team Development Program by USA Lacrosse! Kai was one of 100 girls chosen in the nation to join the program. She was one of only three girls from Florida who made it to the second stage of the selection process. The purpose of the development program is for building the future of the US National team. This past season, Kai set a new Treasure Coast record with an incredible 106 goals! Only 100 girls nationally were chosen, and only 3 players from Florida made it to Stage 2. The purpose of the development program is for building the future of the US National team. Our students have demonstrated outstanding achievements across multiple subjects and grade levels, surpassing state averages and setting new benchmarks for excellence. Notable Achievements: 💫MCSD outperformed Palm Beach County in Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Civics, and U.S. History. 💫MCSD outperformed St. Lucie Public Schools in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Civics, and U.S. History. 💫MCSD outperformed Indian River County in Algebra, Civics, and Writing.
