The Beach Announcements Thursday, September 15, 2022 Students – the last day to buy Homecoming tickets will be TOMORROW, FRIDAY DURING LUNCHES. ABSOLUTELY NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF B LUNCH. If you are planning to bring a guest to Homecoming, your guest forms MUST be turned into the Dean’s Office by 10:00 tomorrow morning. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. First Priority is an outreach club that meets every Monday after school where our main goal is to teach others about Jesus and spread His name throughout our campus. Our meetings are held every Monday in Sra. Barquero’s room (Room 226). Once every three weeks we will meet in the cafeteria to have pizza. We will have games, go through the Bible, and have fun together. God Bless! The environmental club is having a beach cleanup on Sunday, September 25th at 8:30am. It will be 2 hours at Jensen Beach from 8:30am-10:30am. Everyone is welcome to help clean up the beach! Attention all 9th grade students: Freshman Parent Night will take place Wednesday, September 28th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Food drive dates: 9/12 – 9/23 Food donations should be non-perishable items such as canned/plastic jars, cereal, rice, etc… Food will be collected by Key Club members on 9/23 and will be donated to House of Hope. Sports News At yesterday's Jupiter Invitational Cross Country Meet, Justin Cannata won the boys race by 50 seconds to lead the Falcon boys team to a 4th place finish. For the girls team, Ava Vancour finished 8th and Niki Sossie came in 13th to help the girls team place 5th overall! Great going Falcons! The girls' golf team remains undefeated by a score of 160 - 225 over Sebastian River yesterday. Hannah Erwig had the low round of the day with a 36. Faith Ayers scored a 38. Chloe Sebuck had a 42. Chloe Sebuck won the High School Individual Title with a low round for the day of 36. Faith Ayers added a 39. Hannah Erwig scored a 40 and Natalie Goodall claimed the #4 spot for the team with a 47. Chloe Haley finished 5th and Ava Vancour finished 12th to lead the girls’ team to earn 2nd place out of 11 teams. Nic Colbert won the boys race with Justin Cannata finishing second to lead the boys team to a 4th place finish out of 15 teams. Way to go, Falcon athletes!

After dropping the first game of the match, clutch performances from juniors Chase McNamara, Vaughn Berhoff and Kasey Davis led the team to victory in the second game and ultimately in the tie break. Both the boys and girls bowling teams will face off against Martin County on Tuesday, Sept. 20th, at Stuart Lanes. Way to go, Falcons! All girls interested in playing soccer this year should attend. There will be a boys’ golf match at home vs. MCHS and Okeechobee and a girls’ golf match at Lincoln Park Academy. Both matches begin at 3:30. Our bowling teams will take on Sebring today at Jensen Beach Bowl. Both matches begin at 3:30. The JBHS swimming teams will take on LPA, Pine School, and SFHS today at Sailfish Splash Park. The tournament will begin at 4:00 PM. The JV football team will take on SFHS tonight at home. Lindsay Walch, Jensen Beach: Through 10 matches on the season, Walch has totaled 101 kills including a high of 19 against Hagerty on Sep. 3 and helped the Falcons win the Titanium Division of the Nike Tournament of Champions this past weekend. The Boys bowling team earned their 3rd consecutive win on Tuesday defeating South Fork High School 2 games to none. Junior Chase McNamara led the team with a high game of 216 and high series total of 421. Sophomore Henry Dieffenbach’s series total of 335 helped the Falcon’s secure the win. The boys recorded a season high, single game total of 880 pins in the second game yesterday. Both the boys and the girls teams will face off against Sebring on Thursday, 3:30 pm, at Jensen Beach Bowl.
