Sports News Jensen Beach girl’s golf won their first match of the season over Suncoast, 167-172. Hannah Erwig scored a team low 38 for the round. Chloe Sebuck chipped in with a 39. Grace Ayers finished with a 44 and Faith Ayers a 46. The boys’ and girls’ bowling teams won their matches 2-0 against LPA yesterday! Vaughn Berhoff led the boys with a high series score of 368 while Chase McNamara had the team high game of 194. The girls’ team was led by seniors Tatum Bean and Allie Schroeder who scored series totals of 197 and 206 respectively. The bowling team will travel to Stuart Lanes to face South Fork on Tuesday. The match starts at 3:30. The boys’ and girls’ swim and dive teams won their first meet of the season vs Okeechobee. The JV football team beat Dwyer. Thanks to our cheer team who traveled to cheer them on. Way to go, Falcon athletes!

The Jensen Beach High School Drama Department will be hosting auditions for their fall production “The Play That Goes Wrong” after school on Monday, August 29th. If you are interested in auditioning, please join the drama club Google Classroom, or see Mrs. Hance in building 6 room 127. Students must come prepared to audition with a 1-minute monologue, and a completed audition packet. Packets and time slot sign-up can be found on Google Classroom. CADY Photography will be on our campus Saturday, September 24th in the gym, and on Wednesday 10/12/2022 in the auditorium to take senior photos. Sports News Any Junior or Senior girls that are NEW STUDENTS this year to JBHS & interested in cheerleading - we are having a special try-out today from 3:30-5:30pm in the Café. Those interested need to see Mr. Costello, the Athletic Director, in the gym or Cheer Coach Resch in room 122 immediately for the necessary paperwork needed. Students must have a completed physical packet, 3 teacher recommendations, and a copy of their most recent report card. The Girls Bowling team won their first match of the season over Somerset Canyons 2 games to 0. Strong efforts by Grace Petit, Lillyanne Kiersted, and Deanna Allen. The boys and girls next play tomorrow (Thursday) at 3:30 vs Fort Pierce Central at Jensen Beach Bowl. Come out and watch the teams get their roll on!
