🍎LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY🍎 Superintendent John D. Millay and the Martin County School Board celebrated the career of Ms. Conney Dahn last evening. Ms. Dahn, a longtime educator of students with exceptionalities at Jensen Beach High School, holds the distinction of being Martin County's only educator to earn the Florida Department of Education's Teacher of the Year award. THE BEACH ANNOUNCEMENTS The Class of 2022 Baccalaureate will be held at TC3 Church at 6:30 this evening. Congratulations to our Jubilate singers who performed amazingly last night in their spring concert under the direction of Mr. Paul. We thank you all for your hard work and dedication! The Jubilate Awards Banquet will be held this evening at 6:00 in the auditorium. Graduation practice will be held tomorrow, Thursday, and Monday from 9:00AM to 1:00 PM in the gym. The last School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting of the school year will be held tomorrow at 3:15 in the Media Center. Tomorrow night at 7:00 PM, the Jubilate Spring Concert will be held in the Performing Arts Center. Tickets cost $5.00 at the door with kids 12 and under free. 🎓#MCSDSENIORSTORIES🎓 Today's senior in the spotlight is Austin Duchene of Jensen Beach High School! Austin's very proud mother, Brook Duchene, shares that Austin plans to attend the University of Florida and major in mechanical engineering. "We are so proud of Austin for the effort and dedication he has put into his academic and athletic career but more importantly, we are proud of his character, which is thanks - in part - to the amazing people who have guided and supported him over the years," Ms. Duchene shares. In Austin's words - "I am grateful for all of my experiences over the years. Some of my best memories are of field days at J. D. Parker Elementary School, field trips to the Environmental Studies Council Center, being captain of the Varsity football team and playing in the District championship as well as the comeback game. I would like to thank my friends and family for everything, especially my mom, dad and brother. I would not be where I am today without the incredible people at J.D. Parker, who were the foundation of my love of learning. Congrats to junior Nic Colbert for QUALIFYING FOR STATE in the 1600m with a new PR 4:29.65 Congratulations to junior Justin Cannata QUALIFYING FOR STATE in the 3200 with a new PR of 9:50.44 Congrats to the boys and girls 4x800m relays (Zoe Gozdz, Chloe Haley, Grace Fenedick, and Ava Vancour; Justin Cannata, Conner Strom, Christian Appadoo, Nic Colbert) on season PRs. Congrats to senior Natalie Evans on her final PR in discus (also ANOTHER school record!!!) AND in javelin (an event she picked up for the first time a few weeks before districts and then qualified for regionals…Seriously. She's amazing!). Congrats to Chloe Haley for a new PR of 2:30.27 in the 800m. Paul, Nick, and Justin will compete at the state track & field meet Fri May 13th, in Gainesville. The Softball team received an At Large Bid and the 7th seed for the Regional playoffs. They travel today to take on American Heritage. Wish them luck! Tonight, the baseball team will be taking on Astronaut high school in their first round of regional playoffs. The game will be here, so plan on coming out to cheer for our boys!

JBHS Families, We have achieved record sales of the 2022 yearbook and have sold out. If you would still like your student to preserve their memories of this monumental year of “getting back to normal,” we are compiling a reprint list. Please have your student bring in a check or cash for $120 to the cafeteria during lunch A or B by this Friday, May 13th. This reprint will be available to pick up at the front office this July.
