Falcons , Falcons everywhere . Our track team competed Saturday Morning at MCHS . We broke school records and the season is just beginning The girls 4x800 relay finished fifth with a time of 11:22. The boys 4x800 relay finished fourth with a time of 9:08. Fifth place finish for the girls mile Justin Cannata finished 3rd in his heat for the mile in 4:58. Nic Colbert Nic set the school record for the 3200 - 9:47.62!

Attention Juniors: You will be taking your school day SAT on Wednesday, March 2nd. Please report to school at 8:00 a.m. to check in at the gym. We will open the doors to school a few minutes earlier than usual so that you can get breakfast and then head straight to the gym for check in. Test will start promptly at 8:20 with no late admits. Please make sure to bring an approved calculator for the math portion. You can check the student guide for approved calculators. We will be following a regular bell schedule and classes will resume after the completion of the test. Students are not permitted to leave campus after the test without the proper parent approval. Senior Chase Walker's last-minute goal with 4 seconds left in the game sealed the victory for the Falcons. Freshman Sean Allen led the Falcon goal scorers with 3 goals. Chase Walker had a total of 2 goals and 1 assist. Junior Gio Cascione contributed 2 goals and 1 assist while Freshman Hudson Wilfong had 1 goal and 3 assists. Spanish Honor Society has Spanish tutoring for all levels on Tuesdays from 3-4 pm in room 226. If you need some reteaching, help with your Spanish homework or studying for a quiz or test, we are here to help! ¡Hasta pronto! There are SAT Prep sessions in the media center. They will be held after school each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-5:15. You will receive personalized instruction to help you improve your scores. Remember the SAT for all Juniors is coming up March 2nd. Math Honor Society has math tutoring on Thursdays from 3-5pm in room 138. If you need help with your math homework or studying for a test, we are here to help! Student course selection for the 2022-2023 school year will start in the upcoming weeks. Students will be meeting with their counselors to make course selections and review goals. Please go to the JBHS website under the guidance tab for an informational presentation that will help parents and students prepare for course selections. There you will find links to grades 9-12 course selection sheets, CTE program applications, and information in the slide show on how to prepare. SPORTS NEWS Congrats to the softball team for winning their first preseason game last night! Great job ladies, it's going to be a great season. The tournament will continue tonight with the girls taking on Treasure coast at 7pm. Tomorrow the track team will head to Jupiter for a preseason meet at 4:00. Also happening tomorrow, will be a Wrestling District 13 Tournament and Senior Night! Come out and support our fabulous Falcon wrestlers from 4:00 to 8:30 PM. And finally, the boys' Lacrosse team will play Cocoa Beach at home at 6:00 tomorrow night as well. Good luck, boys!
